Beef Satay

Ingredients:

  • 1 (1 1/2 pound) beef steak
  • 1 green onion, minced
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • 1/4 cup light soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon peanut oil
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
Directions:

Use tenderloin, sirloin or top round for the steak. Combine all the ingredients except the meat and the peanut butter. Cut meat into 3/4 inch cubes. Marinate meat for 1-2 hours. Remove and reserve the marinade. Thread meat onto skewers.Grill over high heat for 3-5 minutes, turning as needed. Bring reserved marinade to a boil and add the peanut butter. Serve this sauce with the kabobs
